Volunteer

The Opportunity

Volunteers provide crucial services for adult survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones. As a volunteer for adult survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of those affected by this traumatic experience. Your hard work and dedication will not go unnoticed as you provide crucial services such as providing emotional support, connecting survivors to resources, and advocating for their rights.

You will also have the chance to help create a more understanding and compassionate community by educating and raising awareness of sexual assault. We thank you in advance for your willingness to help and we know that your efforts will make a difference.

Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. Sexual Assault Center (formerly People Against Rape) has served survivors for over 47 years and continues to be the leading authority on sexual violence prevention and support services in the Tri-County area. As we continue to increase our capacity to serve our communities, we are looking for individuals who are energetic, passionate, and can work collaboratively as we strive to create a South Carolina without sexual violence.
