Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. Sexual Assault Center (formerly People Against Rape) is a sexual assault advocacy program offering free support and services for adult survivors of sexual assault in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties of South Carolina.
Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. Sexual Assault Center offers a variety of programs and support groups to help individuals in our community that have faced sexual assault. We offer:
- Crisis intervention and case management
- Hospital accompaniment for SANE
- In-person, virtual, written, and phone follow-up support
- Community resource referrals
- Facilitate dialogue between victims and loved ones
- Crisis intervention and follow-up for incarcerated survivors
- Accompany victims to court and other legal and law enforcement appointments

Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. events are gatherings of local community members to discuss current issues affecting our area. It is a great way to stay informed and get involved in making our community a better place. The events are free and open to everyone, so please join us at the next one!
